In Another Tomorrow

Everything is so blurry.
these tears
the truths the new day will bring.
Today is corroding
by the mistakes we made yesterday.
Even now as I can hold you in my arms,
slowly and quietly
we’re drifting apart.
The two watchtowers from which we call out to each other
will soon topple over
dead on the ground
forgotten by this modern era.
I hope this dream is not yet over
and I hope we can meet again
in another tomorrow.
