It’s Safer Now

It’s safer now.
The falling debris is frozen
motionless as it silently saturates
the air around us.
As we walk through it all
pieces brush against our cheeks.
Their concepts have shattered
leaving us a bounty of possibilities.
We should try to rebuild
but the world seems much simpler
now that no truths remain.
